Description:
Insulators are a special insulation control that can play an important role in overhead transmission lines. In the early years, insulators were mostly used for telegraph poles, and slowly developed a lot of disk-shaped insulators hung on one end of the high-voltage wire connection tower. It is used to increase the creepage distance. It is usually made of glass or ceramic and is called an insulator. Insulators should not fail due to various electromechanical stresses caused by changes in the environment and electrical load conditions, otherwise the insulators will not have a significant effect, which will damage the use and operating life of the entire line.
Dead end insulators fulfill the requirements of IEC61109, the sheds of the insulators are made of highly hydrophobic silicon rubber. The core is made of corrosion resistant fiber glass rod and the end fittings are made of hot-dip galvanized steel. They are used on 12kV up to 36kV distribution networks.
